Bikershome is a meetingpoint for off-road motorbike and 4x4 travellers who look for a reliable place.
A brief story about how it started: Peter Buitelaar. Born in Nijmegen/Holland in 1956 has been traveling in Morocco since 1978.
Avoiding the cold Dutch winter was one of his first reasons to travel south and very soon he became impressed by the wild beauty of the Moroccan landscape. Through the years he has done more than 75.000 km's of tracks (also in Algeria, Niger, Burkina, Mali, Ghana, Turkey, Syria, Jordan) and became hereby an expert in desert-off-road-driving.
Vehicles used during his tours: Nissan King-Cab, Toyota Hi-lux, Unimog 1300, Daf 4440 dutch-army-truck, Yamaha XT600 en BMW R100GS type "paris-dakar'', Toyota Landcruiser BJ45, HJ45, HJ61 and now a Toyota HZJ80 special edition.
2003 was a special year for Peter: Zineb came into his life. They met each other on a viewpoint in the middle Ouarzazate, the town where they now both live.

Price starts at €300,- per day
Support-point for the Royal Dutch Automobilclub the ANWB.
Our mechanic does any repair on your bike or 4x4. Even a complete engine overhaul is possible.
In case of long repairs you can spend the night with us :
Double rooms, hot showers, good food, order parts via internet, washingmachine, sunny roof terras, advice about tracks.

Benefit of our 30 years travel experience and join us for the adventure of a lifetime
Driving nearly 90% off-road, on a motorbike through the Moroccan mountains and desert. During the tour we do tracks of the DAKAR-RALLY, drive to the top of the highest sanddunes, cross deep canyons, speeding over endless planes....
On the handle-bar of two bikes we've mounted GPSes with the whole tour pin-pointed every 50m; you cant loose track because the GPS shows the right way. And thereby, the whole tour is followed by our well equiped 4x4 assistance vehicle with on board : fuel cans, water, first aid kit, tubes & tyres, air-compressor, spare-parts, tools, your personal luggage (one bag pp, no suitcases).
In case of a puncture all you have to do is wait a few minutes for the service-car to arrive.
Half way during the day we have lunch in a local restaurant or we lunch on-tour along the track. Somewhere in the afternoon we reach the hotel for that night where we find all the necessary comfort; hot showers, a delicious dinner, soft bed, and where possible a swimmingpool and airconditioning.
The next morning after a good breakfast we slide back on the saddle in search for the horizon.....

Repair can be done on the spot or we repatriate you to the nearest garage.
This repatriate-service is free for members of the Royal Dutch Automobilclub ANWB in combination with the IRK.
