Bikershome Timbuktu Tour Nov 2010
10 to 15 motorbikes and 2 support vehicles.
The urge for adventure is in every one of us… we search the internet for travel stories about far away places with imaginary names like Timbuktu or Dogon and Bandiagara. Picture yourself riding over endless desert planes… or through a green jungle… past small villages with beautiful people… so now and then a river crossing… breath taking views from a mountain pass… freedom as far as the eye reaches.
Until now you were maybe wondering; how can I do this… where do I go… do I find fuel everywhere along the track… where do I get help when I have engine trouble… who comes for my recovery in case of a serious crash?
That’s why Bikershome offers you 4×4 support all the way
Our support 4×4 pick-up follows the bikers over the same route
It transport’s: your private luggage, drinking water, fresh food bought on tour, cooking gear, 12 volt Engel fridge, 180L cans for petrol, oil, spare motor tyres, spare inner tubes, electric air-compressor, tools, bike stand, sand plates, high-jack, shovels, tow straps, etc.
In case of an emergency (injuries, engine failure) a rider can travel in the support vehicle and the bike goes on the back of the pick-up.
