Bikershome TTR-tour

7 day arrangement with 6 nights accommodation and 5 full days is Desert Riding

This tour is specially made for those who love to spend a week away from the civilised world with nothing but nature around them. You’ll be riding on a Yamaha dirt bike through a virgin landscape over sandy/stony tracks which lead past fossil finding places and ancient rock paintings,past sand dunes and deep canyons. The tour is safely escorted by 4×4 support.

The first and last nights are at the Bikershome in Ouarzazate,all other nights we are out in nature. Where possible we bivouac near oasis where we can take a swim in the cool water. After a swim we make camp while our cook prepares us a tasty evening meal. It is important that we all give a hand as teamwork is essential on this kind of trip.

Motorbikes

Yamaha TT600RE with air cooled engine,no complicated electronics,electric starter,easy bikes to ride. All fuel is included.

There is no guide at the front;all routes are clearly marked on the GPS screen.

4×4 assistance trucks

Toyota Landcruiser HZJ80 4.2 Diesel and Mahindra Scorpio Pick-up 2.5 TDI.

Depending on the group’s size one or two 4×4 service trucks follow the participants and carry on board:Mechanic,cook,fridge with food coke and beer,food,your personal luggage,fuel,tools,tyres,tubes,water,tents,sleeping bags,inner sheets,mattresses,cooking materials,etc

Choose between Hotels or Bivouac.

Hotels

All days we arrive in the afternoon at a hotel or guesthouse along the track. There we find all the comfort we need after an exiting ride. Dinner will be served at 20:00h and before that we have time for a hot shower and a dive in the swimming pool (where available). Breakfast is at 8:00h and at around 9:00h we plan to be back on the saddle,ready for another day through off-road paradise.

Bivouac

Also on our Bivouac Adventure Tour first and last nights are at the Bikershome. All other nights we are out in nature. A 2nd 4×4 carries all the camping equipment,cooking gear,food,drinks and water. Our wild-camps are carefully chosen spots next to a well or near a spring. On 2 bivouac locations we camp beside a natural pool in the desert. Great places for a refreshing swim after a dusty ride.

After an evening by the camp fire we spend the night in Decathlon “2-seconds” tents and for a comfortable rest we sleep on self-inflating mattresses. Sleeping bags with proper clean inner sheets keep you warm at night.

A night in free nature under a blanket of stars…this beats any hotel.
