Bivouac Adventure Tour

7 days of which 5 full days is Desert Riding on Off-Road Motorbikes

This tour is specially made for those who love to spend a week away from the civilised world with nothing but nature around them. You’ll be riding on a dirt bike through a virgin landscape over sandy/stony tracks which lead past fossil finding places and ancient rock paintings, past sand dunes and deep canyons. The tour is safely escorted by our 4×4 service pick-up.

The first and last nights are at the Bikershome in Ouarzazate, all other nights we are out in nature. Where possible we bivouac near an oasis where we can take a swim in the cool water after a dusty days ride. After a swim we make camp while our cook prepares us a tasty evening meal.

It is important that we all give a hand as teamwork is essential on this kind of trip.

4×4 assistance truck

Depending on the group’s size one or two 4×4 service trucks follow the participants and carry on board: Mechanic, cook, fridge with coke and beer, food, your personal luggage, fuel, tools, tyres, tubes, water, tents, sleeping bags, inner sheets, mattresses, cooking materials, etc

Bivouac

Our wild-camps are carefully chosen spots next to a well or near a spring. On 2 bivouac locations we camp beside a natural pool in the desert. Both great places for a refreshing swim after a dusty ride.

You sleep in Decathlon “2-seconds” tents. Easy to put up even when we arrive late for the night, throw it in the air and your room is there!

For a comfortable night we have 10cm thick mattresses. Sleeping bags with proper clean inner sheets keep you warm at night.

Campfire

During the day the service 4×4 collects wood for the evening campfire. We all have a good time sitting together around the fire, talking about the days ride and staring at the stars… this beats any hotel.

Different from other tour companies we only travel with small groups; max 6 persons. The desert is not only our work, it’s a passion!
