This off-road adventure begins and ends in Ouarzazate with a total 8 days of which 6 days biking. Highlight of the tour are the 160m high sand dunes of Erg-Chebby.
The tour is about 95% off-road and we do an average around 180kms per day.
Peter’s 30 years Morocco experience brings you to the best places the desert has to offer.
Guiding is done by GPS on the handle bar. A detailed track on the screen shows you exactly where to go. Our 4x4 pick-up truck follows the same track on close range for quick assistance when needed. On board the service vehicle we carry fuel, supplies, air-compressor, Engel fridge, spares, tools, first-aid-kit and your personal luggage.
To maximize your enjoyment you must have good experience in handling an off road bike.
D1, On arrival in Ouarzazate the Bikershome crew escorts you to the hotel where you are invited for a welcome drink beside the pool. Then it’s time to pick up the bikes fit on your riding gear and make a short test ride. Dinner is served at 19:30h followed by a briefing for the next day.
D2, After a firm breakfast we head south over the of the Sarhro mountains. Half way that day we enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree. Our hotel is near the village of Tazzarine.
D3, More than 200km this day. Following the Dakar 2007 track we have lunch at an astonishing view point. Late in the afternoon, after refuelling in Rissani, we will reach our **star hotel at the foot of the Erg Chebby!
D4, Hard work! Today we will make a trip through the dunes and all try to reach the highest top!
We arrive back at the hotel in the early afternoon where we have time to relax beside --or in-- the swimming pool.
D5, We enter a remote desert region. In the evening we bivouac in a canyon surrounded by palm trees, rocks and sand. Showers are present.
D6, The first 25km pass through sandy terrain followed by a dry flat lake bottom. Here we can make speed… be careful for hidden gullies! The last part of that days track is more rocky. Lunch is in Zagora where we also refuel. Early enough for a swim we arrive at the *** star hotel with all the luxury longed for.
D7, Heading back to Ouarzazate through the Draa valley, passing numerous small villages. With a view over thousands of palm trees we have lunch in an ancient Kasbah. Dinner and night is in the hotel where we started the tour.
D8, Return back home after an exciting week. We hope to see you next year!

Tour price is including motorbike rent, riding-gear, fuel, 4x4 assistance, all nights hotel, all meals, mineral water during the day and local airport transfers.
For those who prefer a less hardcore type of journey we offer the possibility to do any of our tours on a Yamaha TTR250. The Yamaha is not as powerful as the KTM 450 and therefore ideal for those who discover off-road desert biking for the first time.
Peter will personally guide you through the desert on his KTM 950 Superenduro. A second driver will follow in the 4x4 assistance vehicle.
